If you are traveling alone and would like a roommate, we will do our best to match you with another participant who also needs a roommate as your departure date approaches.

  • If a suitable roommate cannot be found, you will be placed in a “forced single room”.

  • This means you will have a private room at half the cost of the full single room rate.

Traveling with Medications

Passengers are allowed to bring medications in pill or solid form through security checkpoints in unlimited amounts, provided they are properly screened.

  • Prescription Bottles Not Required: TSA does not mandate that medications be in prescription bottles. However, travelers should comply with their state’s labeling laws regarding prescription medications.

  • Inform Security Officers: Passengers should inform officers about their medications and separate them from other belongings before screening.

  • Screening Options:

    • Medications are typically screened via x-ray.

    • If you prefer not to have your medication x-rayed, you may request a manual inspection before screening begins.

    • Passengers are responsible for displaying, handling, and repacking medications during an inspection.

    • If medications cannot be visually cleared, they may still need to be x-rayed or undergo additional screening, including explosive trace detection.

  • Injection Needles & Special Medications:

    • If carrying medications with injection needles, it’s recommended to have a doctor’s certificate confirming the medication is for personal medical use.
